MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

In order to keep your fixtures looking spanking new and increase their service life, here are a few tips on care adapted to each surface.

To guarantee the service life of your fixtures, check the condition of your salon equipment once a year. Whatever the type of surface, never use:

  • - Pliz, Javel, Ajax, Cire leather type products;
  • - products containing acetone;
  • - scouring powder or cream (Cif, Ajax, etc..);
  • - abrasive sponges.

Fabric:

  • - Regularly clean fabrics to ensure they retain their original sheen and sparkle;
  • - Prolonged exposure to sunshine will adversely affect pale colours;
  • - Wipe clean using a soft, damp sponge soaked in lukewarm water with a little soap (all-natural household soap);
  • - Immediately remove any stains caused by professional products (dyes, etc..);
  • - Remove stubborn stains by rubbing with a sponge or "soft" toothbrush soaked in water and alcohol (less than 30%), rinse in clean water using a soft, damp sponge, then dry with a dry, non-pilling cloth. Never use a hair-drier to dry fabrics;
  • - Avoid impacting or dropping your utensils onto upholstery: scissors, service trolleys, brooms, hoovers, etc.;
  • - Ensure that friction caused by clothing and zip fasteners, studs and other steel accessories on customers' clothing do not damage fabric coverings.

Laminated and melamine-covered wood surfaces:

  • - Wipe clean using fresh water and a soft sponge and soft cloth;
  • - Fresh stains (5 minutes old) can be removed more easily by using hot water with a little household detergent (washing-up liquid) or all-natural household soap, then dry using a dry, non-pilling cloth;
  • - Immediately remove stains caused by chemicals with a soft, damp sponge;
  • - Avoid impacting or dropping your utensils onto wood;

Acrylic and PS:

  • - Wipe clean using fresh water and a soft sponge and soft cloth;
  • - Fresh stains (5 minutes old) can be removed more easily by using hot water with a little household detergent (washing-up liquid) or by applying Cindarella Polish 1;
  • - Immediately remove stains caused by chemicals with a soft, damp sponge;
  • - We recommend rinsing the basin after each treatment;
  • - Avoid impacting or dropping your utensils (e.g. scissors) onto PS or acrylic fixtures. Knocks can cause chipping and cracking;
  • - Never use caustic soda drain cleaners in wash basins.

Paintwork (rotomoulded framework structures with metallic paintwork or epoxy painted steel:

  • - Wipe clean using fresh water and a soft sponge and soft cloth;
  • - Fresh stains (5 minutes old) can be removed more easily by using hot water with a little household detergent (washing-up liquid or all-natural household soap only). If you do not remove a stain immediately, it will remain on the surface;
  • - Avoid impacting or dropping your utensils (e.g. scissors) onto painted surfaces;
  • - Immediately remove stains caused by chemicals with a soft, damp sponge;
  • - Any impact will cause scratching or chipping, which are impossible to treat in the usual manner. Returning the item to the workshop is the only way to have the item entirely resurfaced and repainted.

Chrome and aluminium:

  • - Wipe clean using fresh water and a soft sponge and soft cloth;
  • - Fresh stains (5 minutes old) can be removed more easily by using lukewarm water with a little household detergent (washing-up liquid or all-natural household soap only);
  • - Immediately remove stains caused by chemicals with a soft, damp sponge;
  • - Any impact will cause scratching or chipping, which are impossible to treat in the usual manner. Returning the item to the workshop is the only way to have the item entirely resurfaced and repainted.

Impacts that cause dents in aluminium cannot be repaired. Surface scratches can be abraded and sometime be made to disappear by having the item polished by a Metalwork specialist.
